Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Cool Cat Enclosures, every enclosure is custom-made to fit your home and keep your cat safe. Because of this, cancellations and refunds are a little different from off-the-shelf products.
We aim to be fair and flexible where we can, here’s how it works:
Cancelling Before Paying Your Deposit
No problem! If you change your mind before paying your deposit, you won’t be charged anything.
Cancelling After Paying Your Deposit
Once we receive your deposit, we start preparing your materials and booking your install. If you cancel at this stage:
If materials haven’t been ordered yet: we’ll refund your deposit, minus a $200 admin fee.
If materials have been ordered or installation has been booked: up to 50% of your quoted amount may be retained to cover costs already incurred. Any remaining balance will be refunded.
Cancelling After Installation Has Started
Unfortunately, once we start building your enclosure, cancellations aren’t possible. Because our enclosures are made-to-measure, they can’t be resold or reused elsewhere.
Change of Mind
Because your enclosure is custom-built for your space, we can’t offer refunds for change of mind once materials have been ordered.
Faulty Workmanship
If something isn’t right with your installation, we’ll fix it! Please let us know within 7 days of your installation and we’ll work with you to sort it out as soon as possible.
